Allan Melvin died Thursday at the age of 84 of cancer. You might not know the name but you know him for playing Archie's good buddy on All in the Family, Sam the Butcher on the Brady Bunch and as the voices of Bluto and Magilla Gorilla.  He provided us so with many laughs and he will live on in syndication.
