I am – Hercules!! Wanda Two Saints over at E! is reporting that one of her “always been reliable” sources says Rashida Jones, who plays Dunder Mifflin’s branch manager in Utica, will be a focus of the midseason “Office” spinoff headed our way at midseason. But W2S can’t get another source to confirm yet. You’ll recall Jones left the “Office” for a bit to star in the horrible Fox sitcom “Unhitched” from big-screen comedy directors Peter & Bobby Farrelly (“Stuck On You,” “Fever Pitch,” “The Heartbreak Kid”). Rashida Jones, who played Karen Filippelli on The Office before leaving to star in a pretty awful comedy called Unhitched, is rumored to star in the hush-hush Office spinoff coming this fall. Kristin Santos over on E! Online is reporting that this is just a “rumor for the time being”, but the news is “rippling” through the television industry today. She tried to confirm the rumor, but one side says yes, one camp says no, so the rumor remains hearsay. However, if this does pan out, what do you think? I’m not sure Jones can really carry a comedy all on her own, the supporting cast would have to be great. Can she? ...
