Green Light for Green Hornet With... Seth Rogen?
Screen Rant — ... editor alter-ego Britt Reid. There is currently no director assigned to the project. And God knows who will play Kato. Let's hope it's not McLovin! I would have loved to have seen Kevin Smith helm it a few years back as originally planned. I really think he had it in him to deliver a quality superhero film. That said, I'm totally game to see what Rogen and Goldberg have in mind. The film is currently scheduled for a June 25, 2010 release. Source: Entertainment Weekly TrackBack (0) | Comments (0) ...

Seth Rogen to Play the Green Hornet, the Last ‘Unlikely Superhero’
Vulture — ... There was a time (about two months ago) when the casting of the once-uninsurable, formerly incarcerated (though hip and clearly non-portly) Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man still sounded a little crazy — maybe not as unfathomable as Michael Keaton playing as Batman, but certainly an unorthodox choice to bet a potential franchise on. Now, though, Sony has green-lit Seth Rogen's long-discussed Green Hornet movie, in which Rogen will somehow fight crime as the titular (presumably out-of-breath) masked avenger. EW describes it as "what may be the most unlikely ...

AMC Entertainment Script To Screen Movie Blog — ... . I think he has a real gift when it comes to comedy and I enjoy his projects (for the most part) immensely. Please: Ask! Tell! [Gay]
Gawker — The Canadian military's enthusiastic participation in Toronto Gay pride events provides yet more proof that they are winning at North American Democracy. Ten Canadian soldiers marched in this weekend's Toronto Pride Parade, and the Canadian Armed Forces set up an information booth to solicit recruits from the well-toned ranks of Canuck 'Mos. Between this, the ascendant Loony, and the unstoppable appeal of Seth Rogan, it is now evident that Canada is destined to rule over us in glorious empire.[Metafilter] ...

Seth Rogen's 'Observe and Report' trailer: Hilariously NSFW
PopWatch — ... a lovestruck dolt of a mall cop hits theaters on April 10. I'd probably go see Observe and Report on the strength of Rogen's past work alone ( Pineapple Express , Superbad , Knocked Up ), but if not, this red-band trailer (after the jump) would have tipped the scales for me. Definitely not safe for work, but Rogen, Anna Faris, and Ray Liotta all make it look so good. For more mall cops and Seth Rogen: Two's a trend: Mall-cop Movies!
