Not even a hallowed Washington institution could stop Shia LaBeouf from illicitly lighting up , according to the National Enquirer. LaBeouf not only lit a cigarette in the bathroom at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (where he's on location for Transformers 2 ), he also set off the smoke detector alarm -- and then tried to extinguish the evidence in the toilet bowl. Guards slapped him with a stern talking-to, a far cushier sentence than the $500 fine he received in February for illegally smoking on a Burbank, Calif., sidewalk.

Shia reportedly received a “stern lecture” and was told he would be kicked off the premises if it happened again. What a douche! I mean, dude you can’t go outside to have a cigarette? I think he has been arrested before for smoking in a restricted area - I don’t think Shia is exactly a mental giant. Probably something more like a mental grain of sand. Source
