Well, there it was. I’m kind of drawing a blank at the moment. . . we learned that Michael was the next Omar, Dukie the next Bubbles. Almost all the loose ends got tied up, with some wonted cynicism and a few happy endings.     Last week's episode was more exciting, but what are you gonna do - it was a finale. For every heartbreak (Dukie, Michael) and sellout (Carcetti), someone got a second chance (Bubs) and stayed true (Daniels).

    I'm really going to miss this show. Favorite scenes from last night: Marlo leaving the cocktail reception to return to the streets, then wiping the blood off his suit and feeling like yeah, I'm back in the game... Michael as the new Omar... McNulty telling Greggs, Detective, if you did it, it had to be done.
