The Sopranos team is moving on (sigh). James Gandolfini has signed for the BBC Film In the Loop. Edie Falco is doing a Showtime pilot. And now David Chase, creator of “The Sopranos,” has signed with Paramount Pictures to write, direct and produce his first feature film, an original drama. I have to admit, I was a little unsure about Brolin playing Bush, but hats off the make up wizards who made that happen. This week we finally got confirmation that a Bioshock movie was happening, with Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski heading it up. Another unnecessary sequel and another unnecessary TV to movie adaptation were announced, and Marvel continues to ride the wave of success from Iron Man with four new comic book movies in development.
