News Briefs — Kevin Spacey to play Jack Abramoff in thriller 'Casino Jack' Kevin Spacey will star as the infamous lobbyist Jack Abramoff in the thriller Casino Jack , Variety reports . The film, which is being directed by George Hickenlooper ( Factory Girl ), begins shooting in Toronto this month. Abramoff was a former lobbyist who pled guilty in 2006 to defrauding American Indian casinos; he's currently imprisoned until 2011.
