CHICAGO - A spokeswoman for Bernie Mac says the actor is responding well to treatment for pneumonia and hopes to be released in the next few weeks. Bernie Mac is almost in the clear. A spokeswoman for the Ocean's 13 actor says he is responding well to treatment for pneumonia. He is in stable condition, but he will still be hospitalized for a few more weeks, his rep says. We're glad he's no longer in critical condition, as previously reported. Get healthy, funny man!
