Only time will tell whether the new version holds a candle to Chan-wook Park’s original adaptation of the Manga. My money is on “not a chance”, but we’ll see. Spielberg, and Smith, for that matter, have been pretty hit-and-miss lately.

Sounds like the project isn’t going to be released anytime soon. I’m sure Smith and Spielberg have better things to do with their time than make a film that isn’t going to match up to the original Korean version.
