On Sunday, September 21, 2008, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded the 2007-2008 Primetime Emmys for programs and individual achievements on the "60th Annual Emmy Awards" which aired on ABC from the NOKIA Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.
Cable cleaned up tonight as HBO brought home 10 of the awards for which it received nominations, including five awards for the mini-series John Adams and two for the movie Recount . AMC took home three awards split between their two ...

[image] The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards are over for another year. They were held Sunday night at the NOKIA Theater in Los Angeles. Right now, people are probably getting drunk and dancing with their Emmys. I know I wouldn’t let mine go! It seems like cable television is king with HBO winning 10 awards. And 30 Rock swept the Comedy category! And in a surprise Jeff Probst won his first Emmy for Reality Host, about time! Here is the complete list of winners.
