Showtime has picked up The L Word for its sixth and final season according to The Hollywood Reporter . The show will not be back for a full season, but a shortened one of only 8 episodes, something the creator said was needed to wrap up the show. Showtime is negoitiating with the cast to bring them back for the final 8 episodes, hopefully they will all be back including Marlee Matlin.  ... [link]
