The Tale of Despereaux Trailer Starring Matthew Broderick
With Wall-E in theatres this weekend, it makes sense that trailers for the next round of CG kids’ movies are arriving at the same time. Dreamworks’ The Tale of Despereaux is based on the book by Kate DiCamillo, about a mouse who befriends a castle’s princess. I can’t say this trailer really does much for [...] [link]

The Tale of Despereaux Trailer
Published 6/27/2008 by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) at The Movie Blog

Check out The Tale of Despereaux! A mouse that knows not fear and lives life like nothing will harm him is an interesting idea for a children’s film. I am not familiar with the book that this movie is based on, but if any of you have had the privilege of reading it - I would appreciate your input very much. The ...

The Trailer of 'Despereaux'
Disney has Pixar. Fox has Blue Sky. Paramount has, for now, Dreamworks. As seemingly the last studio to get into animated features, Universal has offered up the trailer for their maiden effort, The Tale of Despereaux , over at Yahoo! Movies. Based upon the 2003 Newbury Award-winning novel by Kate DiCamillo, the film follows the adventurous antics of Despereaux (voiced by Matthew Broderick ...
New "Tale of Despereaux" Trailer
Source: TheTaleOfDespereauxMovie.com I saw the trailer for “The Tale of Despereaux” during “Wall-E” today and was remained unimpressed by the final product. The film looks stupid, boring, and a huge ripoff of “Ratatouille.” (Sure it “isn’t,” but “Ratatouille” got there first.) Here is the trailer below:
Trailer Blazer: 'Bolt' vs. 'Tale of Despereaux'
It's time for an animated trailer blazer throwdown! Let's break down the competition: Bolt is a non-Pixar film from Disney due to hit theaters in November. The Tale of Despereaux comes from Universal in December. Both have talking animals as the title characters; the former features a heroic dog who doesn't know that he's on a hit TV show, while Despereaux concerns a heroic ...
Trailer for 'Tale of Despereaux', Which Isn't Anything Like 'Ratatouille'
Tale of Despereaux ? More like Tale of Desperation! Because Universal is so desperate to continue the Finding Nemo/Shake's Tale, Bug's Life/Ants, Toy Story/Plaything Narrative tradition of repeating animated movie concepts that they've made a film about a foreign-named mouse in a kitchen! Talk about desperate! Or maybe they just logically purchased the rights to a Newbery Award-winning ...
ANOTHER ANIMATED RAT MOVIE
After the jump, I’ve got the trailer for The Tale of Despereaux , an animated film from Universal.  Normally I'd say no one but Pixar should be allowed to make animated movies, but after watching this… My position hasn’t changed. Starring the voice of Matthew Broderick, the movie tells the story of Despereaux, a mouse who is French, because the law of movie ...

Universal's The Tale of Despereaux Mouse Movie Trailer
This Christmas, Universal, for the first time ever, will be jumping into the animation game with a film of their own titled The Tale of Despereaux . Unfortunately it looks pretty much like a Ratatouille rip off. I know that it's an adaptation of Kate Dicamillo's children's book and doesn't feature a rat who wants to become a chef, but I think the only reason they made this is because ...
