Terminator, Watchmen and Lies Trailers In Front Of The Dark Knight
Published 7/8/2008 by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) at The Movie Blog
If you’re one of the many millions of people who will be heading out the the movie theater around the week of the 18th to catch “The Dark Knight”, you can now know that there will be a couple of fairly high profile trailers playing in front of the movie. No, there will be no “Harry Potter” trailer there, but there are a couple of big ones: - Terminator Salvation Don’t expect to see too much of anything from the actual movie since it didn’t even start filming until recently. The film opens next year on May 22nd. - Watchmen I’m VERY interested ...

It's Official! The 'Watchmen' Trailer Will Play Before 'The Dark Knight'!
Published 7/8/2008 by Monika Bartyzel at Cinematical
Filed under: Drama, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Comic/Superhero/Geek, Trailers and ClipsZack Snyder wouldn't confirm it last month when he talked to Collider, but Coming Soon has now scored confirmation about which trailers Warner Brothers Pictures is tacking on to the next Batman installment when it hits next week on July 18. Wonderfully and most importantly, is Watchmen. I can only hope that it shows some action, and a good look at the heroes (including Doc Manhattan), rather than a teaser that lays on more anticipatory torment. The next in the list is, fittingly, ...

no HBP trailer with dark knight.
Published 7/8/2008 at OH NO!!
With The Dark Knight hitting theaters on July 18, many are wondering which trailers they can expect to be released with such a highly-anticipated movie. ComingSoon.net has now confirmed which trailers Warner Bros. Pictures will be debuting. There's been much speculation that we'll be seeing the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but it looks like Harry Potter fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first footage. Our guess is it will be shown with the studio's Star Wars: The Clone Wars on August 15, but that's not confirmed. Instead, what you can expect are the first ...

Three Trailers Will Premiere Before Dark Knight
Published 7/8/2008 at Cinema Blend News
Three Trailers Will Premiere Before Dark Knight Isn’t it common knowledge by now that trailers can be as much fun as the movie itself? You suffer through the same inane commercials and weird PSAs from the theaters, and then you get a glimpse of whatever you’ll be lining up to see in a few months. For some movies the previews can get as many cheers as the movies themselves—like when The Dark Knight trailer ran before my screening of Iron Man back in May. Now it’s actually time for The Dark Knight himself, and since we’ve pretty much exhausted all kinds of speculation for the movie itself, we’ve resorted to predicting which trailers ...

Trailers with ‘The Dark Knight’
Published 7/8/2008 by Michelle at We Are Movie Geeks
As a crazed trailer geek, I am happy to write that ComingSoon.net has confirmed which trailers will be attached to The Dark Knight. Many thought we’d catch a first glimpse of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. But, alas, its not to be so. What we can expect is a first teaser for ‘Terminator: Salvation’ (May 22, 2009) from Warner Bros., the graphic novel ‘Watchmen’ (March 6, 2009), and the thriller ‘Body of Lies’ from Ridley Scott ( October 10, 2008) starring Leonardo DeCaprio and Russell Crowe.

'Dark Knight' Will Be Good For People Who 'Go for the Previews'
Published 7/8/2008 at I Watch Stuff - The Best Movie News Ever
We all know that The Dark Knight comes out on the 18th (or if you don't know, you've been ignoring the constant free publicity I've been giving it), but did you know that the film will be preceded by a series of "previews" for films that have not even come out yet? It's true. These "trailers" (interesting name, because they do not trail the film; remind me to "wiki" this) work as sort of prognosticators, providing early glimpses of the movies of the future, and Dark Knight is going to have some doozies: ...

Watchmen: New Video Journal And Trailer Update
Published 7/9/2008 by Vic Holtreman at Screen Rant
Ok, so we’re a bit behind other folks with the latest Watchmen video journal (#4). We have that for you, plus info on when you’ll be able to see the first trailer and more. First off, the video journal below features Dave Gibbons, the artist behind the classic comic book (or should I say, graphic novel). He discusses the level of detail in the film and how impressed he is with Zack Snyder’s attempts at matching the look of the original as closely as possible in regards to details and even the color pallet. ...

Trailers Before Dark Knight: Watchmen, Terminator Salvation, Body of Lies
Published 7/9/2008 by Alex Billington at FirstShowing.net
Not that anyone needs any more encouragement to go see The Dark Knight, but trailers for Watchmen, Terminator Salvation, and Body of Lies will all show in front of the film next weekend. Now I'm sure I've just made everyone even ...

Trailers Before The Dark Knight?
Published 7/9/2008 at FilmWad
Speculation abounds as to what trailers will be released before the biggest movie of the summer, The Dark Knight. After all, these previews will be seen by what will probably be the largest audience of the entire summer. It's been suggested that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars CG epic due out August 15th could be in the running. However, Coming Soon.net ...

Early buzz: 'Lights,' Tarantino, 'Watchmen' and more
Published 7/9/2008 by Whitney Matheson at USATODAY.com - Pop Candy
Morning, all. I'm getting really excited about Lebowski Fest this weekend -- I think this will be my first trip to Kentucky, so it'll be a good time. I leave Friday, and I hope to see some of you there. Last night I watched a few of the Office webisodes, which launch tomorrow on NBC.com. I also saw most of the AFI special that gave Warren Beatty its Lifetime Achievement Award. It was surprisingly good! Jack Nicholson , Diane Keaton , Robert Downey Jr. and others really spoke from the heart. Anyway, some headlines: - Bad news for Friday Night Lights fans: Smash and Jason Street ( Gaius Charles and Scott Porter ) ...

Three New Trailers Before "The Dark Knight"
Published 7/9/2008 by TonyD (noreply@blogger.com) at FilmArcade.net
[image] Source: ComingSoon.net I have my ticket for “The Dark Knight” already because they’re selling quickly as hell. But it seems like more people are going to be interested in the trailers than the movie. Three new trailers are premiering before the Batman film. The first trailer is for “Terminator Salvation.” Could this decide whether or not how good it is? The second one is for “Watchman,” which I’m really looking forward to (but totally saw it coming, especially with that Collider interview). The third trailer is for a film called “Body of Lies,” which I never heard of, but it has to be decent because it is being ...

Official Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer news
Published 7/10/2008 by Wendy at The Gryffindor Gazette
There is a LOT of speculation on when the trailer or teaser for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is ever going to show up. Here’s some more official sounding information: So far there isn’t a scheduled release date for the Trailer. Normally a Teaser Trailer will come attached to a film that has the same production studio as the Trailer in question, In this case Warner Bros. The next major film being released by Warner Bros is “The Dark Knight” which opens on July 18. It seems the teaser trailer would most likely to be attached to this film, however there have not been any official reports. ...
