Tropic Thunder Topples Dark Knight at Box Office

Tropic Thunder just brought down Batman’s at the box office this weekend. The Ben Stiller-directed comedy, featuring Jack Black, Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr. in Blackface, debuted at No. 1, taking in $26 million and bumping The Dark Knight to second-place after four weekends in the top spot, according to early studio estimates Sunday.
