USATODAY.com - Lifeline Live — A country songwriter has been arrested in the stabbing death of Cheri Oteri's father. Richard William Fagan, 61, has been charged with criminal homicide in the Saturday night death of Gaetano Thomas Oteri, 69. Apparently the two were roommates and got into a fight. Police said that a drunken Fagan slashed Oteri with his knife. Authorities say the former Saturday Night Live star has been told of her father's death.
