Variety reports that Twilight star Ashley Greene is in talks to topline Dark Castle's Apparition. Todd Lincoln is going to direct the film with a script he wrote himself. Personally I'm a fan of Dark Castle and what Joel Silver has been doing with the company so we'll have to see how this one turns out.
Story centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence that's unleashed during a college experiment. Apparently the story's inspired by true events which means that nothing in the movie happened. Start date for production is Feb. 1. ...

"Twilight" girl Ashley Greene (she playes Alice Cullen in the series) will soon be haunted in Dark Castle's upcoming film "Apparition," which Todd Lincoln is writing and directing for Joel Silver.
Variety says "Apparition" follows a young couple haunted by some kind of supernatural presence generated during a college experiment. Ahhhh, yes, it sure is time for another haunting story, right?
The trade also says the whole thing is inspired by true events, which is reason enough for me to hate this film already. Anyway, production will kick off early next year.
