'V' loses ratings battle to 'NCIS'

TV News: CBS franchise edges out ABC's sci-fier -- ABC's "V" took a substantial drop from its ballyhooed premiere a week ago, certainly enough of a fall to give CBS a win in the 18-49 demo race as "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" were the highest-rated and most-watched shows of the night, respectively.
