“New” wave?  I don’t think so.  If anything, it is woefully old fashioned.  If you look at this magazine cover you might be inclined to think, well, this is just the way it is in Hollywood, 2008. But is it really?   Hm.  This could be a premature mediajaculation, if you ask me, so why not show some diversity?   Oh right, it doesn’t sell. Meanwhile, the Guardian (via Indiewire) goes down VF Hollywood issue history to see how right or wrong they have been over the years.
