I don't know about anyone else out there, but I still can't get used to seeing Simon Pegg's mug in such a serious pose! ... my opinion the most unusual bit of Star Trek casting was Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy, for some reason I have a feeling he’s really going to nail it. Although Simon Pegg doesn’t look the part, I think he’s versatile enough to pull off Scotty. Yeltsin as Chekov - no big deal. Just play it with an accent and wide-eyed. This is the new poster for JJ Abrams' Star Trek, featuring John Cho (Harold) as Sulu, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Karl Urban (Lord of the Rings) as McCoy, and Anton Yelchin (Charlie Barlett) as Chekov.  It's a strange mix of dramatic and comedic actors as it is, plus they're going to be delivering JJ Abrams dialogue.  I predict lots of unintentional humor, like a hobo who freezes to death with his fly open.
