BBC America announced Friday (Nov. 20) that the "Doctor Who" special "The End of Time, Part One" -- the first half of David Tennant 's final appearance as the Doctor -- will premiere Saturday, Dec. 26 in the United States, just one day after its U.K. debut. Part two will also air over the holidays, though an airdate hasn't been announced yet. "The End of Time" will find the tenth Doctor facing the end of his era as the Time Lord and doing battle with the Master ("Life on Mars" star John Simm, reprising his role).
