... it raises interesting questions about what is the definitive interpretation of Batman? Should it only be measured against Bob Kane’s original conception (as seems to happen with Bond and Fleming)? Is there one visualisation, be it Frank Miller’s or Tim Burton’s or Christopher Nolan’s, that absolutely nails the DNA of the character? Or are there multiple variations of the character than can happily sit alongside each other? What say you, Bat-fans? link ...
