Hey, it's fun carving those pumpkins isn't it? Okay, it's a bit of work, especially that Batman logo-shaped mouth, but it's all good and fun, until you leave that pumpkin sitting there a bit too long. Yeah, it gets all nasty and you can't even pick it up anymore without having it fall apart on you while stinking up the place. Someone should tell whoever put the pumpkin up on WhySoSerious.com the above, because just a few days more and it won't look so great anymore. Even now it's already starting to rot, see for yourself. Hopefully it'll be cleaned up before that awful smell comes as well...

In an all-too rare display of tact, Warner Bros. took down their website for The Dark Knight and replaced it with the above memorial to the late Heath Ledger. The viral site whysoserious also had a black ribbon attached to it as of today.
It’s a tough situation, but Warners performed admirably; their tribute is simple, classy, and heartfelt - a perfect example of how to respond. As for how not to, unfortunately there are always going to be idiots like this.
