We missed this news when the details first hit a few weeks ago, but I guess now we have to mention it. Top Cow's next big adaptation will be of Witchblade , the comic that first appeared in 1995 and went on to become a TV show in 2000 that ran on TNT for two seasons. ... Costume Designer (Glenne Campbell), Casting Directors (Heike Brandstatter & Coreen Mayrs)…and the Cinematographer Joel Ransom, who shot the original mini series. IMDB even includes a “release date” for CAPRICA of December 2008. Meanwhile it looks like Michael Rymer, director of the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA miniseries and countless episodes throughout the series run, will be directing the feature adaptation of WITCHBLADE. The film already has a cool teaser poster.
