'Survivor''s Laura Morett: We Shot Ourselves in the Foot

Thursday night's Tribal Council was the Tribal Council of all Tribal Councils on "Survivor: Samoa." The vote was split with five castaways voting to send home Laura Morett , and five voting for Southern belle Natalie White .
When the vote is split like that, a second ballot is cast by everyone except the two named in the first vote. If there was a tie the second time, both Laura and Natalie would be safe, and stones would be drawn by the remaining castaways to see who would go home.
Three of Laura's original Galu tribe members still wrote her name down, but John Fincher took the opportunity to rid himself of a tough competitor: Laura had won individual immunity the previous two weeks in a row.

Exclusive Interview With 'Survivor: Samoa' Contestant Laura Morett

Last night on Survivor: Samoa , 39 year old Laura Morett, the lobbyist
enabler from Salem, Oregon, became the third member of the jury. Facing
a deadlock and the possibility of picking rocks, rocket scientist John
Fincher switched his allegiance on the Tribal Council revote to send
his long time ally packing.

Laura was a different kind of player than Survivor has seen in recent
seasons - an athletically strong, strategically-involved older woman
who defied stereotypes. She avoided the pitfalls of several past
outspokenly Christian contestants and became a leader of both male and
female contestants, older and younger. Some of her strategic decisions,
such as alienating Shambo and cutting Eric loose, were game-changing
mistakes in hindsight. But I'll miss her presence on the show.

Find more top entertainment news, videos, and blogs on ShowHype: Television, Survivor: Samoa, Survivor

Will Levi Johnston Go 'Dancing with the Stars'?

This season of Dancing with the Stars isn't even over but casting rumors are already afoot on the ABC show, with Levi Johnston, the ex-fiance of Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol and father of her first grandchild, as the first name to surface. But from the looks of it, the Playgirl model isn't too keen on the idea. "I'm thinking about it, we'll see" Levi said regarding the possibility of appearing on either Dancing with the Stars or Survivor ." We'll see, I've thought about it and I don't know. I don't know if it's my thing." Read more: Can Donny Win? Can Mya Lose?
'Survivor''s Villain May Get His Just Desserts

"Survivor: Samoa"'s self-proclaimed master manipulator Russell Hantz tipped his hand on last week's episode when he didn't trust his newly merged tribe. They told him they were going to vote off Erik Cardona , but he was worried they might blindside him, so he played the Immunity Idol to keep him in the game one more week. Will he now be the next to go? Russell has continuously boasted that he would outwit and outplay the other castaways, but it looks now as if all the false promises of alliances that he made may come back to bite him in the behind when a plan is set in motion that leads to one of the most memorable Tribal Councils in "Survivor" history. "This is the first time I am struggling on what to do," he says. It looks as if the only way to save himself is to win immunity.

'Survivor''s Erik Cardona was Totally Blindsided

The four-member Foa Foa tribe merged with the eight-member Galu tribe on last week's episode of "Survivor: Samoa," and it looked to be a sure bet that Galu would knock off the Foa Foa members one, two, three, four. But they surprised everyone by voting off one of their own: Erik Cardona . ET talks to the ousted castaway to get his take on the game. ET : Last week's vote was a total blindside. Do you think it was a done deal in camp, or do you think the things you said at Tribal Council, where you sounded so confident, could have changed people's minds?
