David Letterman's "Top 10 List" tonight was Sarah Palin's top ten excuses. The list refers to the unfortunate interview that Palin gave right after she pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving. As Palin answered questions, a worker right behind her was slaughtering turkeys in a turkey grinder. Palin seemed oblivious to the gruesome events as she continued talking for three minutes. James Franco's Kiss For David Letterman (VIDEO)

"Milk" actor James Franco (he plays boyfriend Scott Smith to Sean Penn's Harvey Milk) went on "The Late Show" Friday night to promote his new film, opening November 26. As almost every interviewer does, Letterman asked at length about Franco's extended onscreen liplock with Penn for the film. "Do you really want to be good at kissing a guy?... How drunk are you?" Franco, smiling and laughing with Dave's questions, described not only the kiss but all the compliments he got after shooting it from all the people on set who watched the take. He also offered Dave, "If you want it, I'd be willing to kiss you right now" and leaned in for a peck. WATCH:

Entertainment Tonight Talk-show host David Letterman called CBS News’ Katie Couric on his “Late Show” Thursday night to address the headline-grabbing incident when John McCain skipped Letterman’s show to do an interview with Couric. Letterman playfully probed Couric about how he lost McCain as a guest, saying, “I think you had something to do with it.” Couric assured Letterman that she didn’t lure the former presidential hopeful away from Letterman or even know he was booked on the “Late Show.” “I would have said, ‘By all means, go do Dave’s show,’” she insisted. “…I had no idea until you, apparently, had a little cow on the air.”

Britney Preps For European Performances, Lobbies For Letterman

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Britney Spears is preparing for her trip across the Atlantic where she will perform on the French show "Star Academy" and Simon Cowell's U.K. talent show, "X Factor." And today the pop star has posted new photos of herself on her own Web site hard at work at a recent dance rehearsal. Brit doesn't have her sights set only on Europe though - she's also hoping for an appearance on David Letterman.
