The writer's strike last winter hurt almost everyone
connected with the television and movie business. Some TV
shows were hurt more than others. 24 never even aired last year. Heroes, after a disappointing first half, never got to redeem itself with a second half. And then there were the shows that premiered last year, such as Chuck and Dirty Sexy Money. They did not return after the strike.
