Oprah To Inauguration, She Tells Access Hollywood

Oprah Winfrey is headed to Washington for inauguration, she tells Access Hollywood : The media mogul (and staunch Barack Obama supporter) will be hosting "The Oprah Winfrey Show" from Washington, D.C. during the week of the presidential inauguration, she revealed to Access Hollywood exclusively at an Essence Magazine event in New York on Tuesday night. "I'm going to break that right here; that's where I'm going to be," Oprah told Access. "See you there . . . that's the place to be." She also confirmed to Access that she has rented out the Opera House at the Kennedy Center to film the show. Other celebrities expected to attend inauguration include Bruce Springsteen, Will.i.am, Anne Hathaway, Spike Lee, Tim Robbins, Maggie Gyllenhaal and many other prominent Obama supporters.

Oprah is taking her show to the nation's capitol! The media queen will be hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show from Washington, D.C., during the week of the presidential inauguration, Access Hollywood reported on Wednesday. See Barack Obama's family album. "That's where I'm going to be," Winfrey told Access Hollywood ."See you there... that's the place to be." The Barack Obama supporter revealed she rented out the Opera House at the Kennedy Center to tape the show. After his historic presidential win in November, Winfrey told Usmagazine.com : "I'm vibrating. "I'm just trying to take it all in," she told Us . "I can't even talk about it. "This has been the greatest experience of my lifetime," she added. "I haven't seen a sense of unity like this since 9/11. Now, we're all brought together in the name of hope." Oprah Winfrey 's annual "Favorite Things" show (which airs Nov. 26) won't include her usual pricey gifts. In light of the tight economy, the talk show host, 54, is instead giving away only affordable items. See photos of Oprah's fluctuating weight over the years.
