Joe Simpson, father to Jessica and Ashlee, has signed on to executive produce a new Nickelodeon series based off his daughter&#8217;s lives, according to The Hollywood Reporter . The new series will be&#8221;loosely based on Simpson&#8217;s real-life experience as a psychologist raising two daughters in Texas,&#8221; the trade mag reports. &#8220;The story in the comedy project centers on one of the daughters who begins imitating her father and giving life advice to other kids in her school.&#8221; Joe currently serves as both Jessica and Ashlee&#8217;s manager, and previously served as the EP of ABC&#8217;s Women&#8217;s Murder Club .
