ICYMI: The James Franco Method of Acting
Published 3/14/2008 by Alex Blagg at Best Week Ever
Team Apatow, none of whom ever sleep apparently, has made a new Internet video for FunnyOrDie in which master thespian James Franco delivers a lesson on the craft of acting. In this edition, he shows us how to cry by using the sense memory method and a little help from his baby brother Davey. Finally, a chance to get some insight into how he was able to channel all that anger he felt towards Spiderman for killing his father. Take a look, you might learn something. Video after the jump.

It’s been years
Published 6/9/2008 by Maggie at TiFaux
All right, maybe not years. But it’s been a while. I write now as the TV season winds to its conclusion, with one purpose only: to praise Greek. I know I’ve done it before, but this time I mean it. In these tumultuous times, there’s so little to count on, and Greek has become a beacon of dependability in a sea of disappointment. (I may have become embittered in my absence from this space.) So, why watch Greek, besides the fact that nothing else is on? I’ve prepared a few talking points for judgmental roommates and your own doubting consciences. Cappie. An episode cannot ...

Published 8/11/2008 by Marc Bernardin at Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch
Why isn't Pineapple Express's Craig Robinson a bigger star? Pineappleexpress_l A lot of things came to mind after seeing Pineapple Express . And (spoiler-alert lite) I will share a few of them here (and this, as I've learned from my court-appointed "therapist," is what he means by "good share"): 1) James Franco is friggin' hi-LAR-ious. I mean, I'd seen his Funny or Die "acting lessons" ...
