Finally a performance on American Idol 7 that made me go wow! What David Cook did to Hello was eerie but it worked! I would love to hear his version inserted to the original Lionel Richie music video because I think it would make the his video work even better! I hope David Cook stays because I want to see what else he can do. BTW I haven’t posted much on Idol because to be honest this season is really boring me. Anyone else not as impressed with the season as the American Idol people?

American Idol entered week three last night with a vengeance. There are 16 contestants remaining, and last night’s show was the Top 8 Men. How great were the performances last night? They were far above and beyond what the men gave us last week and much closer to what we expect from American Idol 2008. After watching last night’s show I actually think we could do away with the women’s portion and just continue the show with the men and I’d be perfectly happy.
