Happy? Proud? Hopeful? Or the opposite? Last night I felt immeasurable pride and warmth at the news, and I agree with every pundit I’ve read thus far — his speech was electrifying.

[image] Okay, I'm not sure why it makes news every time presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama wipes the crust from his eyes in the morning, but my guess is that the national news media and idiot pundits from coast to coast fail to realize something about the man: he is a human being. And like most human beings he does quirky things with the person he chooses as his companion when he accomplishes something.
