Yesterday a video was making its rounds on the interwebs that had Dark Knight fans grabbing their tin foil hats and heading for cover. Initially it appeared as though the widely circulated Batman: The Dark Knight trailed had been lifted, scene by scene, from the original 1989 Batman film by Tim Burton. Hey all… I happened to StumbleUpon this post today at CollegeHumor.com , and it really peaked my interest. As you may or may not know, I’m excited about The Dark Knight this summer. It’s one of the four tentpoles of my most anticipated summer movies… Iron Man, Indy IV, Hellboy 2, and The Dark Knight… So when I watched this video comparing the trailers for the original Tim Burton Batman movie (with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson) with the trailer for this summer’s sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight. I’ve heard people talking about how scenes in The Dark Knight were highly reminiscent of scenes from the 1989 version of Batman, but I never really thought anything about it.
