How adorable was Big Bird’s appearance on last night’s Kimmel? Some of our favorite residents from Sesame Street will be making the media rounds over the next week as the children’s television classic celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Keep your eyes peeled for an special appearance by Zoe and Elmo on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon next Monday night.

"Sesame Street" has been making a fuss over its 40th anniversary through a series of promos, release of a book and new video. And some of its characters are popping up here and there too, from the Google title page to "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where Carroll Spinney's more than lifesized character Big Bird settled into a seat.
Spinney, who spends quiet time in Woodstock, Conn., is one of the few puppeteers who has been with the show throughout its four decades.
