Ghostbusters 3: Don't count on Bill Murray being in this threequel — he tells Britain's Absolute Radio that he won't do the movie unless the script is really good. Bill Murray Casts Doubt On Ghostbusters 3
Movie Moron —
While promoting Fantastic Mr Fox in London Bill Murray has shed further light on the mysterious Ghostbusters 3 project. In a typically honest interview with British radio station Absolute, Murray also discusses his role as a badger in Mr Fox and the difficulties that come with making sequels.
It’s over 20 years since Ghostbusters 2 but hopes are that all the original cast will reunite for a third installment including the retired Rick Moranis, lets face it though, if they don’t manage to convince Murray to do the ...
Bill Murray talks Ghostbusters 3
The Movie Blog —
Bill Murray was cornered at the premier of Fantastic Mr. Fox and got talking about Ghostbusters 3.
He says that its all talk right now and will believe it when he sees it happening, and he would consider doing it, but it has to have a great script.
I agree with Bill. There really shouldn’t be another “just to make one” and I hope that it has a great script. At least we know he hasn’t completely boycotted it.
However I wonder what quality level is required for a “great script” from the man who was in just as many great movies as he has had stinkers. ...
Calm Down: Bill Murray Still Not Sold On ‘Ghostbusters 3′
Film School Rejects —
Oh, Bill. When I think I can’t love you any more, you go and say exactly what most of us have been thinking (And no, I don’t mean about Ghostbusters 2, though we have probably been thinking that for years as well).
Speaking with Britain’s Absolute Radio at the premiere for Fantastic Mr. Fox, Peter Venkman himself laid the skeptic’s gauntlet down on the rumors of a complete cast thumbs-up for the long-awaited third film in the Ghostbusters franchise. Though most of us have simultaneously felt elation and tentative fear over the announcement that this movie was ...
Bill Murray Not Pulling Out The Big Twinkie Yet
Agent Bedhead —
Ghostbusters Lots of rumours have surrounded the haunting spectre that is Ghostbusters III , but when director Ivan Reitman climbed on board, this sequel started feeling all too real, and I gotta admit, that ain’t necessarily a good thing. While I adore Ghostbusters , the 2nd film didn’t have the momentum of its predecessor, and all other attempts (i.e., animated t.v. shows) from the franchise have been pretty crappy. So, it comes with much relief to learn that Bill Murray has not yet signed on for a third movie. Further, there is no script yet, Murray insists that he won’t sign on until he reads a kick-ass script, and producers will ...
'Ghostbusters 3' Hits Snags: Murray Feelin' Skeptical, Dan Aykroyd Says "No Green Light," Suggests Funding Is Scarce
:: The Playlist :: —
There's been a flurry of "Ghostbusters 3" talk in the last week and it started out on a positive note, but has since somewhat fallen south. The semi-good news started when Bloody Disgusting "reported" some sort of non-news (it's kind of a rambling, sloppy piece to be honest) in that original "Ghostbusters" and "Ghostbusters II" producer/director Ivan Reitman was "straight up confirmed, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt," to be involved in the project which wasn't a total shock (or even news) since he's ...
