The much talked about Brüno clip that was cut from the theatrical release due to Michael Jackson's untimely death is now available for all to see. After offending Paula Abdul, which we thought was a virtually impossibility, Brüno gets Jackson to fill in. The task is simple, eat some sushi off a naked, morbidly obese guy, but things get touchy when he starts asking for access to her famous sibling. Relax MJ fans, at the time this was a harmless joke. Right before “Bruno” was released in theaters, the scene with LaToya Jackson was deleted out of respect for the death of Michael Jackson.
But, of course, it’s included in the special features on the DVD and Blu-ray, hitting shelves Nov. 17, 2009 from Universal Home Entertainment.
The movie stars Sacha Baron Cohen as an Austrian TV host searching for fame and fortune in America. During the process, he pranks any and everyone who crosses his path.

N.B. For the foreseeable future I’m going to separate DVDs and Blu-rays into different posts. Part of the reason is that quite a few older films are being released on Blu-ray and I don’t want there to be any confusion.
