Televisionista — Perhaps CBS' "Cane" won't be getting a 2nd season renewal, but that's not a reason to blow a key scene in the show with a poorly timed ad. Product Placement Goes Awry In "Cane"
TV with MeeVee — Chevrolet bought some ad time during "Cane" and some in-show placement for a Silverado pickup, and then went ahead and used clips from the in-show placement in the ad... before they'd been aired as part of the show. Oops, spoiler alert! On the other hand, a shiny new truck driving through a wall of fire! Que macho!
