John McCain sure didn’t think through his latest campaign ad very well. In it, he pokes fun at Barack Obama by claiming he’s the world’s biggest celebrity after Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. The McCain camp says it’s supposed to be funny, but it really isn’t. I’m not saying it’s not funny in the sense of “this is very serious stuff; you shouldn’t joke.” It’s just flat-out dumb and not very creative. It isn’t funny.
