Penelope Cruz definitely NOT pregnant on Leno (thanks to reader Andrew for the tip).

Here’s the thing, though – call me cynical but the applause in the background for the clips on Penelope seem a bit … forced? Anyway, the applause was deserved but I have a hard time believing the audience knew the movies. But that’s just me. I still love her Spanish acceptance speech:

Thanks to AwardsDaily for pointing out this tiniest of glimpses of Penélope Cruz singing and dancing her perfectly formed butt off in “Nine.”
With such a cluttered field, I’d been leaning towards the idea of none of the actresses from the film’s formidable ensemble making the Best Supporting Actress cut, but this hints at the kind of onscreen barnstorming that is catnip to the actors’ branch.

[image] Okay, it isn't much - only about twenty seconds worth of footage - but it's the longest video of a solo performance we've seen yet from the forthcoming musical " Nine " and it looks great. In the clip, Penelope Cruz sings and struts though what looks to be the last moments of "A Call To The Vatican."
