Deception Trailer Starring Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor
Film Junk —
From the writer of Live Free or Die Hard comes an intriguing thriller with a kick ass cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, Michelle Williams and Maggie Q. The basic premise is this: a rich but shy accountant (McGregor) is introduced to an underground sex club called “The List” by a lawyer acquaintance of his (Jackman). For a while, things seem too good to be true, but eventually he finds himself dragged into a web of lies after being framed for crimes he didn’t commit. The trailer for Deception doesn’t really give too much away, except for the fact that it’s sort of a cat and mouse game between McGregor and Jackman, and ...
JACKMAN AND MCGREGOR JOIN A SEX CLUB
FilmDrunk.com —
Starring Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor, Deception is the directing debut of commercial director Marcel Langenegger, from a screenplay by Live Free or Die Hard writer Mark Bomback. It opens April 25th. McGregor plays an accountant whose lawyer (Jackman) introduces him to a mysterious sex club. Soon he becomes a suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multi-million dollar robbery. Hollywood always makes swingers clubs look like they’re full of hot single chicks just dying to get boned by the next schlub ...

…You didn’t think I was serious, did you?
So, tonight was a weird night for me. For any of you out there wondering, I don’t watch TV shows. If I do, I usually watch them in several sittings on DVD. I don’t watch network TV in the slightest. I think the last TV show I saw was the season finale ...
Ewan McGregor in skin cancer scare
Cele|bitchy —
Beloved Scottish actor Ewan McGregor had a cancerous mole removed from below his right eye. The Huffington Post has a comparison of his face before and after two moles were removed. The one under his eye was cancerous.
In an interview with the BBC, he said “I had a little skin cancer under here, under my eye.”
“I just went to have them checked. You have to be careful if you’re pale skinned and you’ve spent time in the sun with moles, so I went to a specialist who thought they were better to be removed and indeed he was correct.”
He said ...

Hollywoodtuna —
Coming to you later than usual this Friday, since I’ve been stuck in screenings all day. So without further ado, onto the weekend releases:
Baby Mama has gotten some pretty brutal reviews, but it should still win the weekend. With 30 Rock more popular than ever, Universal is clearly trying to ride the Tina Fey wave. Unfortunately, since she didn’t have a hand in writing the movie, I’d lower your expectations just a bit.
Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay should make ...

Weekend Box Office Estimates: “Baby Mama” Smokes “Harold & Kumar 2″
Hollywoodtuna —
Who ever said there wasn’t room for three comedies at the box office? Not only did Baby Mama, Harold & Kumar 2, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall make up 3 of the Top 5, they all had takes in the double digit millions. And once the final numbers come in, Sarah Marshall and Forbidden Kingdom could switch places, giving comedies the top three slots.
But all the money spent on the Big 3 meant there wasn’t much left for anything else, and there’s a big drop-off after #4. 88 Minutes fell hard from #4 ...
