I know that some of you were probably thinking about the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film Eagle Eye, wondering whether or not there would be any action. I mean, it is supposed to be a thriller, right? It turns out that it is and there appears to be quite a bit of action in the film, which stars Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan as two seemingly average people selected by a mysterious organization to participate in acts of terrorism. You can go ahead and pencil in another Disturbia-level hit for Shia LaBeouf and director D.J. Caruso, because from the looks of the newest trailer for Eagle Eye, the movie’s got just the right mix of suspense and action to draw a crowd. I can’t make heads or tails of what’s going on, but it’s certainly got a Hitchcock-with-explosions quality to it. Watch the trailer here, then let me know what you think.
