Two days before his untimely death, Michael Jackson had a dress rehearsal for his "This is It" tour.AEG, promoter of Michael's planned London shows, released the short video of Michael rehearsing on a stage in the Staples Center arena on June 23.In the short clip, Michael looks relatively strong as he sang "They Don't Care About Us". Exactly one week ago, the world lost the undisputed King of Pop. Today, AEG - the company behind his much anticipated, yet ill-fated, comeback set of shows 'This Is It' - released some footage of one of Mike's last rehearsals. 48 hours later, he died. Michael Jackson was preparing a spectacular comeback just days before he died unexpected on June 25. He had poured his soul into putting together the best show possible for fans attending his sold out “This Is It” 50 show residency at London’s O2 arena.
Sadly, they will never get to see the legend hit that stage, but thanks to concert promoter AEG we can all see a bit of what the show would have been like from MJ’s final tour rehearsal recorded just two days before he died.
