This weekend, we posted a story on how Uwe Boll, the “filmmaker” responsible for some of the worst video game movies in recent history, promised to stop making films if one million people signed a petition against him. At the time we posted the story, the petition only had 16,000 signatures. I’m happy to report that our posting was picked up by websites across the interwebs, and the petition now has over 127,000 signatures! So we’re one eighth of the way there.

Just two days ago we reported on an online petition to get Uwe Boll to stop making films. Even Boll himself knew about the petition and said it would take 1,000,000 signatures to get him to stop making films. I laughed, I thought it was all a big joke.
Maybe I shouldn’t have laughed. Boll has released a video in response to this petition where he claims he is the best person working in the movie business and that he is a genius.

He holds a doctorate in literature and has authored two books on film. Unfortch, Boll is also the screenwriter, producer, and director of some of the world’s most shit-awful movies. All of which are personally financed through his Boll KG McEuro-Laundering Company and some ridiculous German tax caserole. His IMDB page reads like John Wayne Gacy’s rap sheet. Oh, yeah.
