Yesterday on Fox’s special Family Guy Presents Seth and Alexs Almost Live Comedy Show, Marlee Matlin proved why she is an Oscar winner. While I am not trying to take away Marlee’s amazing performance in Children of a Lesser G-d, what she did on the show yesterday was just brilliant. The way she confronts Alex Bornstein for making fun of her was just genius and seemed like it was real. It was a true Oscar worthy moment because if you didn’t know it was fake, you would think she was serious. Granted I am assuming that was fake… Gotta love Marlee Matlin for giving it as well as she can take it!

During their special, Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy co-star Alex Borstein felt like poking fun at a rather easy target - Marlee Matlin.
The HIGHlight of the evening was Alex's impression of Marlee singing one of our personal favorites, Poker Face.
Trust us, we were mildly put off too, until Marlee came out to defend herself. Somehow, that made it all okay!

Last night FOX aired Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, and they're getting a little heat about it today. They re-enacted a scene from a Family Guy episode that made fun of deaf actress Marlee Matlin. Then they took it a step further and had Alex Borstein imitate Matlin singing a pop song. No worries though, since Matlin was there to defend herself.
Me? I thought it was funny.

I’ve got to hand it to Marlee Matlin: she is one classy lady. Truly, anyone who can take a joke at their expense has my respect.
