GossipBoulevard - Celebrity Gossip, Celebrity News —
Fox 411 is reporting today that a Heath Ledger “death video” would be a collectible, if anyone could find it. Apparently, the actor made the video last year for the song Black Eyed Dog by Nick Drake, the British rocker who died of an antidepressant overdose in 1974. (more…)

Heath Ledger's Nick Drake Video
Stereogum —
As we had mentioned when the sad news broke, Heath Ledger had directed a relatively unseen video for Nick Drake's "Black Dog," a song titled after Winston Churchill's term for depression. Ledger created the video for an exhibition paying tribute to Drake's work and life (which was cut short by an antidepressant overdose). In the time since, Heath's self-described "obsession" and unfortunate similarities with the singer-songwriter have been drawn out and explored, as has most every other detail speculative or otherwise of Ledger's life. Bits of the video are now available, bundled into this newscast circulating on YouTube. In it, Ledger directs ...
Heath Ledger - the Nick Drake theory
Box Office Psychics —
After the Academy Awards I was pretty sure that we had laid Heath Ledger to rest and would slowly go on with our lives. But Australia’s Sky News has apparently not stopped thinking about their favorite son Heath who passed an untimely death earlier this year from an overdose of prescription medications.
The big hub-hub is about Nick Drake - British singer who also died in 1975 at age 25 of a drug overdose suicide that Heath Ledger himself was confessedly “obssesed” with saying in a Venice Film Festival press conference 2007 in the clip - “I was obsessed with an artist by the name of Nick Drake.” ...

Eerie Heath Ledger Video
AOL Video Blog —
Last year Heath Ledger made a video (that he directs and stars in) as a tribute to singer-songwriter Nick Drake , who he was self-admittedly obsessed by. This interesting Australian news story is about the depressed actor making a depressing video about the notoriously depressed artist (Black Eyed Dog is a phrase for depression supposedly coined by Winston Churchill), who died of an overdose of anti-depressants in the mid-1970s. Between the talking heads, you can see much of the black-and-white video in this report, though they leave out the part at the end where the actor kills himself in a bathtub. Heath Ledger Still Dead
Glitterati Gossip —
Heath Ledger is still dead, but that hasn't stopped his story from continuing. Right now, stories are wandering around the internet demanding attention. Heath's treasured vintage van has been stolen and his dad wants it back, since it's an important emotional keepsake (and also worth a bundle of cash). Meanwhile, Heath's doctors have been cleared by the FDA in connection with his death. It appears that either they did not prescribe the drugs that killed him, or did not prescribe them negligently. Still miss him? Watch the following, about his tribute to/obsession with Nick Drake. (I never really got into Nick Drake, but everyone at the record store insisted he ...
