I got a little teary watching this clip of Heidi Montag talk about the death of her stepbrother. I never connected with Heidi’s character (yes, I say character even though it’s a reality show) because of the whole Lauren Conrad feud, but this is so beyond that. This is on a much more human level and I sympathize tremendously. Truth be told, it’s a side that isn’t part of her character on The Hills and I wish this honesty was. On a personal note , a friend of mine died two days ago from taking diet pills. He was 31 years old and a WONDERFUL person. Heidi Montag normally projects the image of a blond bimbo, but deep down there’s substance. Montag gave a very emotional, heart felt, and genuine interview to Access Hollywood about the accidental death of her step brother who served four years in Iraq while in the military. If Heidi was real like this more often I’d post more articles about her. Montag has potential she hasn’t even tapped into yet.
