Jessica Simpson announced at Country Thunder on Saturday night that she’s in country music to stay and is never recording a pop album again to a thunder of applause! “I feel so at home in this genre of music and I just want you guys to know that I am not making another pop record ever again,” Simpson told cheering fans. “I’m staying in country and that’s where I plan to be.” Watch the video above. Jessica says, “If you don’t go buy this record on September 9th I’m just going to make another one and you’re going to buy it on another September 9th,” Simpson said. Source
