Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has finally made his decision for his running mate and announced that he was selecting Senator Joseph Biden through a series of text messages that went out after 3:00 a.m. An e-mail--from Obama "himself"--later followed, saying, "I have some important news that I want to make official. I've chosen Joe Biden to be my running mate. Joe and I will appear for the first time as running mates this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois -- the same ...
Joe Biden is Barack Obama Vice Presidential Running Mate
HollywoodGrind - Celebrity gossip juicy celebrity rumors celebrity scandals Hollywood gossip blog —
Joe Biden has been picked by Barack Obama to run as his vice presidential running mate.
When Biden was running for president against Obama, Biden said he did not believe Obama had enough experience to be president. Biden when asked about his comment said he stands by his statement. If Obama gets elected, does that mean Biden will really be making all the policy decisions for Obama? Biden also said the country would be better off with John McCain. We can’t just say now that Biden didn’t mean what he said, because ...

New McCain Ad … Joe Biden Voices Concern of Obama’s Inexperience to be President
Scared Monkeys —
Another political gaffe by Obama, this time its his choice for VP … The Obama campaign can spin it all they want, Joseph Biden said it.
The problem with Obama’s pick of Biden as his VP running mate … Obama already has to deal with a political ad where his VP thinks and has stated that Obama does not have the experience to be President.
“… the presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training.”
“I stand by that statement,” Biden said. Then the ad twists the knife by airing this Biden quote about McCain: ...
McCain Campaign: Great Idea, Horrible Execution on Hillary Clinton Ad
Quo Vadimus —
As I was watching MSNBC's coverage of the Barack Obama-Joe Biden unveiling yesterday (after I got home from the Lions 26-6 victory over Cleveland, thank God for DVRs) I got to thinking. While the McCain campaign's original ad in response to Obama picking Biden was utterly predictable (a clip of Biden attacking Obama at a debate for being inexperienced followed by Biden praising McCain) I thought that if the McCain campaign was really smart, they'd run an ad praising Hillary Clinton, and try to draw a wedge with Hillary voters and get them riled up that she wasn't on the ticket. After all, in the latest NBC/Wall ...
McCain Campaign Uses Web After Biden Choice
Broadcasting & Cable Articles —
McCain Campaign Uses Web After Biden Choice YouTube, emails used in response to selection of Joe Biden for VP By John Eggerton -- Broadcasting & Cable, 8/24/2008 11:19:00 AM The campaign of presumptive Republican Presidential nominee John McCain wasted no time taking to the airwaves and the Internet to try and use the pick of Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) against Democratic presumptive nominee Barack Obama. B&C received its e-mail from the Obama camp Saturday morning at 4:56 a.m. announcing the pick, but the McCain campaign had already sent its e-mail two hours earlier pointing to Biden's campaign comments about OBama's inexperience. By 1:30 p.m. ...
William Bradley: Distract And Detract: McCain Counter-Programs The DNC, And Himself
Huffington Post Entertainment Blog —
John McCain's press release TV ad playing up Joe Biden's criticism of Barack Obama and praise of McCain.
While the Democrats continue rolling out their convention and the Obama-Biden ticket, Team McCain is playing it tough, trying to disrupt Barack Obama's storyline at most turns of the media cycle. Free from the no doubt horrifying responsibility to run positive TV ads during the Olympics after it was brought to their attention that John McCain is the only one ever to have run negative ads, the campaign is back to its all-attack ways.
McCain's fast ...
