Jennifer Hudson kicked off the Democratic National Convention with a soulful rendition of the National Anthem at the request of Senator Barack Obama. Needless to say J-Hud was feeling that irresistable spotlight on her. I think she did GREAT! Stevie Wonder came through with "Signed, Sealed, & Deliver": John Legend and Will.i.am performed their political anthem, "Yes We Can." Here's a bonus tidbit: Obama's Presidential Democratic nomination acceptance speech was done on the same day as MLK Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech .
