John Mayer was at Samy's camera shop yesterday in LA when a fan asked for a picture. He turned around and asked for $10 dollars and said, "I just charged 10 dollars for a picture, I know what I'm worth." Awww, Johnny you're definitely worth more than a measly ten bucks. You should have charged at least $20. Jen and John's love tour is over for now as John is in LA and Jen is shooting Marley & Me in Philly.

So Dlisted thinks John Mayer is a tumbling, tumbling dickweed for charging a fan $10 to pose with her in a picture. I'm torn between agreeing that it is kind of dickish, and thinking that if celebrities are going to get pestered every moment out of the day, they ought to get something out of it. And hey, you can see in the video that the fan in question has a HUGE grin on her face, so clearly the deal was worth it. I'm just curious to know how much he'd charge me to confirm all those rumors about Oscar Mayer wiener. Now that's a picture that's worth some cash.
