Warning: Political rant ahead, but I probably would have written this no matter what party was involved. As I write this, the Vice Presidential candidate for one of the major parties is being hidden from the press. Since being nominated, she has yet to give a single press conference or interview (other than a puff piece in People). Yet, audiences seem to be falling in love with her from a single speech.
